Emeline Courtot, DN1 cyclist

Both a rouleur and a climber, Emeline competes in DN1 for the Vélo club Morteau Montbenoît.

- Your age: 22 years old

- Your club: I am currently in my second year with the DN1 team of Vélo club Morteau Montbenoît

- Your sports background: I played high-level football for 2 years in the U19 national team at the DFCO training center, then I stopped and started cycling at the age of 20, initially for pleasure. Then I decided to really dedicate myself to it in 2021. The season was short due to COVID (end of June-early October), but rich in learning! Then I joined VCMM for my first "real" season in 2022!

- Your favorite playground: I really enjoy training in the mountains, and for races, I like hard and demanding courses! I also do time trials, so I also like hilly courses for solo efforts!

- Your best memory: Even though I wasn't in optimal condition because I had been sick for 2 weeks prior, I would say my 12th place in the U23 French Time Trial Championships in 2022!

- Your ambitions: for this year, I will continue to learn and progress, both physically, tactically, and collectively, in order to stand out in the French Cups and UCI races.
